  7. I am Larry, Britta's Father-in-Law, visiting from Las Cruces, NM. My wife, Karen, and I were at a wedding reception in Salt Lake City for one of our son's (James) childhood friends when Britta got the text that Lars had been in a car accident. We immediately left for the hospital in Ogden and upon arriving at the emergency entrance were met by Dela, Britta's Aunt. We were hurridly escorted to a consultation waiting room in ICU and met Tera, Britta's Mom. Tera told us that that Kurt, Britta's Dad, was being flown to the Ogden Airport in the personal plane of the Kalsipell Stake President piloted by the president. Bryan, Dela's husband, soon arrived. While waiting for the doctor's update on Lars and an opportunity to administer a priesthood blessing, the new Famington Ward Bishop of 2 months and the old Bishop each called for an update on Lars and to give the family encouragement. The Bishop from the Kalispell Ward also called showing his love and concern. I was so impressed with the Church network of friends that provided their love and support to Lars and his family. In the blessing Lars was blessed with a complete recovery. This will be a journey of faith and prayers, love and miracles.
